EuroCash EC-1600 (EC-V12) Combined Banknote Detector with UV Lamp and Watermark Inspection

The combined EuroCash EC-1600 (EC-V12) banknote detector is not only suitable for detecting counterfeit banknotes, but also for verifying any type of identification document, official document, security paper, stamp, or artwork that contains UV-A security features. This USB-powered banknote detector can be used with its adapter, or alternatively powered via a car charger, computer, or laptop once the adapter is removed.

The EuroCash EC-1600 (EC-V12) retains all the functions and capabilities of the previous EC-1600 model, while preserving its advantages and expanding them with new solutions. It offers higher brightness, and thanks to its LED-based UV-A light source, it is both energy-efficient and significantly more durable than traditional UV tube (CCFL) banknote detectors.

The device is equipped with a proximity sensor. When in standby mode, covering the sensor located on the housing with the item to be examined automatically switches the EuroCash EC-V12 on.

During operation, the device highlights ultraviolet-sensitive security elements found on inserted banknotes, documents, and valuable items.

It is important to always be aware of the security features present on the banknote, document, or artwork being examined. For enhanced verification, in addition to UV-A light, use the built-in white light designed for watermark inspection.

The device is extremely easy to use. Simply connect it to a power source and press the illuminated power button located in the lower right corner.
