The EuroCash EC-1510 (V13) is an improved version of compact banknote detectors. It is equipped with a wide range of authenticity verification functions. Thanks to its easy installation and compact size, it is one of the best choices among banknote detectors. In addition to detecting counterfeit banknotes, this device is also perfectly suitable for checking identity documents, official documents, and securities.

UV inspection

The EuroCash EC-1510 banknote detector is equipped with a pair of UV LEDs, allowing precise identification of UV security features on banknotes. With older UV tube-based detectors, it was common for the UV light to remain switched on, leading to higher power consumption and burned-out UV tubes. This outdated design has been replaced with LED technology, significantly extending the device’s lifespan while reducing energy consumption.

Watermark inspection

Using the built-in lamp located at the base of the device, the watermark of banknotes can also be examined. This LED provides high brightness for clear watermark inspection while maintaining low power consumption. On Hungarian forint banknotes, the portrait visible in the watermark is always a mirror image of the person shown on the banknote.

Magnetic inspection

A magnetic sensor is located directly below the watermark inspection area. Hungarian forint banknotes do not contain ferromagnetic ink; however, USD and EUR banknotes do include this security feature, making this sensor ideal for their verification.

Magnifying lens

The multifunctional magnifying lens located on the top of the device is excellent for close visual inspection of banknotes and for examining microprinting. The magnifier features an adjustable tilt angle of more than 180 degrees, allowing you to set it to the most comfortable viewing position.

Convenient operation

The EuroCash EC-1510 banknote detector is also equipped with a proximity sensor. When the device is in standby mode, covering the sensor on the housing with the item to be examined automatically switches the unit on. Its high-quality plastic construction makes the device lightweight and portable, while still being robust and durable thanks to its versatile design.
